Training trip for 40 persons to Hollywood

Peter Törnblom met me on the train between Borlänge and Stockholm. He presented his idea to develop Folkets Hus & Parker’s cinema training with an additional step, which he wanted to hold in Hollywood, Los Angeles. He asked me if we could arrange it. I answered, of course we can! I made an inventory of my contacts in the USA, which resulted in a “reccy” to put together a programme locally and to check out the study trips and participating lecturers. I handled everything from creating the programme to taking applications and invoicing so that Peter could concentrate on recruitment. Furthermore, Peter wanted us to provide a travel guide service on the spot, so that he could concentrate on the course participants. I made sure the pieces fell into place while over there.
